Our Eyes Are Open – Learning about Residential Schools

In the Learning Commons we shared Nicola Campbell’s Shin-chi’s Canoe. Students demonstrated that they are becoming aware of the legacy of the Residential Schools in Canada by designing buttons to wear on Orange Shirt Day. We chose Indigenous styles of art to create the eyes on our pins.

Use a white crayon to write student names on the reverse.

We use a People Power Press button machine. 2″ size.
