Poetry Inspirations, Makers and a Dragon

Screen Shot 2015-05-15 at 7.10.42 AMIt’s been a busy maker week in the LC. Animal research, and some great digital art. Check out these digital creations by Kindergarten. They showed their impressions of R.L. Stevenson’s Windy Night using Hello Crayon App. Love all those dark, blustery colours.

Screen Shot 2015-05-15 at 7.11.08 AMM. Sander’s and Ms. Hall’s classes finished their My Story animal research. Students gathered information, created artwork and designed a book to show their learning about their animal. Great work.

Congratulations to Bowen, the winner of the giant purple dragon. His mom came to the LC and entered the draw during Early Dismissal. WooHoo!

And let’s not forget the fantastic digital art from Div. 10. They created plasticine castles, took photographs, imported their images into Color Effects, changed the pictures digitally, exported to camera roll and shared to Drop Box. They can be viewed using QR codes in the hallway, along with their original sculptures. Here is a sample…
